If you are an Overseas customer, you may notice a difference in pricing for the different sizes of our Junior ranges. This is because children's clothing up to age 13 years is not VAT chargeable, therefore Junior sizes of 13-14 Years upwards will have a price with the VAT removed.

We have provided further information on this, as per the HMRC guidelines, below;

Age and Size:

VAT is not charged on clothing designed for children up to 13 years old.

Specific size measurements determine if an item qualifies as children's clothing.

Clothing Measurements:

Each type of garment (shirts, jackets, trousers, etc.) has maximum size limits.

For example, boys' shirts up to 104cm (41 inches) chest size are VAT-free.

Footwear:

Boys' shoes up to size 6.5 are VAT-free.

Girls' shoes up to size 3 are VAT-free (with some exceptions for sizes 3.5 to 5.5).

Special Cases:

One-size-fits-all items that suit both children and adults are not VAT-free.

Larger Sizes:

Garments exceeding standard measurements may still be VAT-free if designed specifically for under-14s.

We apply these rules to determine which items are VAT-free. If you have any questions about a specific item, please contact our Customer Service Team.
